This song and music video was made during a music project with the wonderful children and youth from the town Nauta in the middle of the peruvian Amazon jungle. During the workshop phase the students learned how to rap, sing and write their own lyrics. They sing and rap about the loss of their native language Kukama.
After practicing they started to record the song with a mobile studio. Then they planned the music video working together as a team. After the filming and production process the musicvideo was shown and celebrated during an exhibition in the town of Nauta.

This song and music video was made during a music workshop with the youth charity organization Warma Tarinakuy located in La Victoria in Lima, Peru. This song was written and recorded during a two day workshop.
After that we were invited to their annual celebration and used the occasion to film the music video with the participation of the wonderful dancers and b-boys that were present.

This song and video was made during a music project with the wonderful Form I students of the One World Secondary School Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. During the workshop phase the students learned how to rap, sing and write their own lyrics in kiswahili and english. They were encouraged to write about topics that really matter to them and about things they wanted to say to the world.
After practicing they started to record the song with a mobile studio. Then they planned the music video working together as a team. After the filming and production process the musicvideo was shown and celebrated during an exhibition at the school.

SAHARA FILM PROJECT (ALGERIA)

Saharawi Voice Project is a nonprofit participatory media initiative with the goal to use digital media as a tool for expression, empowerment, and advocacy for children and youth living in Saharawi refugee camps. In terms of expression, young refugees are encouraged to use creative media as therapeutic means of telling their stories and coping with hardships experienced.
They are empowered by developing basic skill-sets in new media technology that can serve as a foundation for future work or study, while also exploring creative, proactive ways to deal with difficult situations. Their photographs, short-films, writings and internet-blogs become tools for advocacy, helping to amplify their voices and messages.

ALTO TRUJILLO MUSIC PROJECT (PERU)

A Music Project with great participation of the USDA school students. This school was created in 2006 by Swiss people and is a proof that good Education in areas like Alto Trujillo, where people live in abject poverty, can be a matter of solidarity, respect, and equality through the promotion and development of integrated programs, welfare and social support.
The children learned how to rap and wrote their own lyrics during the workshop. Then the song was recorded with a mobile studio and the music video was filmed during one day at the USDA school compound.
